What is the "Crossgrade" service ?
You already had your cards graded with another company but wish your holder was nicer ? You don't understand your grade or feel it is unfair ?
The crossgrade service is a premium, fast and transparent grading service of a card graded in another company's holder.

How does the Crossover grading service work?
There are 2 ways to use the Crossover service:
Regular Crossgrade and Crossgrade with instructions.
The different scenarios are described below.
Regular Crossover
To carry out a regular Crossgrade, select the "Crossover" service when adding a card in the submission center.
The price remains fixed at 15€, whatever the declared value.
You must send the card still in its case. We'll take care of removing it from its current slab securely.
The card will be graded according to our criteria, regardless of the previous grade.
Crossover with instructions
Crossover with instructions is subject to several conditions:
- The card's Declared Value must be greater than €500 (this will be verified).
- The holder should be clean, with no marks or scratches.
To request a Crossgrade with instructions :
- First select the "Crossover" service when adding a card to the quote center.
- Indicate your instructions (desired grade) in the comment section of the order.
For example:
-Cross only if the grade would be equal to or higher than the current one".
-Cross only if the grade would be equal to or higher than 5".
If the experts are not 100% certain that the desired grade can be awarded, either because of the condition of the holder or the condition of the card itself, the card will not be removed from the current holder, but the service will remain at the same cost.
This is highly likely (due to the difficulty of analyzing the surface inside the holder), so it's important to be prepared to that situation if you request a crossgrade with instructions.
Scenario 1
Requested minimum grade is met:
The card is graded and placed in a CCC slab. Full grading fee is charged.
Scenario 2
Requested minimum grade is not met:
The card is returned in its original holder. Full grading fee is charged.
